An aviary that serves dinner.

Woven raffia birds hang in flight over two lit storeys of terracotta jaali. Underneath them: eight cuisines on one card, a full bar, and a room that runs to half past midnight at the weekend.

The room

Built like a birdcage, open to the sky.

Live-edge timber tables, red and turquoise woven chairs, planting up both storeys and a driftwood sculpture under the canopy. It photographs like a set because it was built like one.

  • The birds — Woven raffia birds hang in flight across the double-height atrium.
  • The jaali — Two storeys of terracotta jaali blocks, lit from behind after dark.
  • The mezzanine — A circular timber mezzanine ringed with brass speaker cones.
  • The canopy — Cane panelling and hanging raffia pendants, open to dappled daylight.

Looking up

Every table gets the view.

The atrium runs the full height of the building, so the jaali, the birds and the mezzanine are overhead wherever you sit. Daylight falls through the canopy at lunch; after dark the same wall is lit from behind.

After dark

The same room, a different animal.

An in-house DJ, a dance floor upstairs, screens on for the big matches — and last call at 12:30 AM on Friday and Saturday.

From the kitchen

Three plates people cross town for.

As named by magicpin. No source publishes a price for any individual dish, so this site does not invent one.
